I have seen 2 CSI in my life (real ones) in europe and none of them had a back seat. Not a folded one, (i own a '97 840 so I know how they looks like when they are folded) but the rear section was completely different. I was told the reason for this is becuse they wanted to save weight and the seat weren't really useful anyway. This can not be true becuse I pulled both rear seat out and they are the lightest seats I have ever seen. Both of them toghether can not be weight more than 10-15lbs. This is not best weight savings even if they pulled the seatbelt system etc. The front seat however has a great weight each of them about 60-70lbs.
So don't get me wrong but these CSI had no back seats at all, and both owner said to me this was the original setup. So sorry if I confused someone here.
