can be done. I have an early 1991 850i. Cartronics of Santa Rosa, CA (with a bit of tech assistance by Louis Brito from Sonnen BMW) just installed a Clifford 9000. Closes windows and sunroof.. turns on lights (I am seriously thinking of having that disabled) plus a zillion other options.


Welcome to the club of those who read their manual and believed that they could easily add remote locking. This was a topic on the e31 net last year...it can't be done on US cars.
