I was looking through the archives the other night and noticed that several people were having the same problem with their Pioneer CD changer as I am (it skips on the slightest bump on CD’s 5 & 6).

Does anyone here know if you can replace the Pioneer with a BMW OEM Alpine (without changing the deck)? As an alternative, has anyone here sent their Pioneer in for repair and had this skipping problem go away?
