Justin,
FYI, many years ago on my CRX autocrosser I switched from K&N to ITG (I was able to get one of the only two prototypes that they made for the '85 Si). In autocrossing, I noticed a slight improvement and was very happy with the ITG's.

In some (very) crude bench tests, the ITG had better flow through than the K&N's. Unfortunately, the foam deteriorated over the course of a couple of years and I changed out the whole air intake system. Hopefully, the ITG's will be an improvement in the Bimmer. Please let us know what you find.

: ... I have decided to try out a back to back comparison between my current K&N's and a company called ITG. I wouldn't normally double spend, but BPG has ITG filters for pretty cheap now. I was told $36 for E36 filters... I assume this includes 325 and 328 filters (they use the same filters as the 850's... only we need two).

: That's the best price I have found, so far. So if you guys want to do a little experimenting, give them a ring.

: AW: I will be in Boston this weekend, but I won't be bringing the BMW... by the sounds of it, you probably aren't going to want to try to navigate your, either. I am going to try to get to BPG Sat. morning... 10:00 to 10:30-ish. If you want to meet up there, let me know, and I can have a cup of coffee waiting for you. Also, this would be a good opportunity for introductions, etc.

: Justin
