My mechanics (Bimmerworks of West Chester, PA) originally diagnosed the problem as a faulty fluid-level sensor (they described it as a float sensor). It turned out to be a burned fuse... I must have burned it out when I was testing the 3 wiper-fluid motors under the hood.
: Check your sensor... perhaps that would explain why: 1.) It is not auto-filling from the trunk. 2.) There is know fluid-level warning.
: Good luck.
: btw: where are you located?
I live in the Netherlands.
(thanks for the reply...)
