It has 53k (auto) midnight blue / grey leather interior / blue top. fully loaded. It's very well maintained, no paint or body work, has a bumper to bumper warranty up to 84k or 09/2002. It has brand new 18 inch wheels and tires (O.Z. Racing Rims) with less than 250 miles on them plus the original 16s with 80% tread. This car is simply gorgeous. I just need a rear seat and the 8 series is the only vehicle I will get rid of it for. The 850 is a two door, very rare and beautiful. I wish they came in convertibles.

The 850 price is based more on market value than book value, depending on condition and mileage.
They can go from low 20's for '91 high miles up to $60-70k for a new '97. I gave my '92 w/17k miles to a broker and returned $33k but probably he sold it in about $35k, the car was pristine, with full AC/Schniter and Dinan equipment, Red/Parchment.
Things to look for:
Head gaskest, intake gaskets.
Hydraulic pump, and system.
Shock mounts, tire wear.
Interior: coin box, ashtray, electric seat (up-down), computer pixels (display).
Headlights, well secured inside plastic bin, (put your hand in front glasss and move sideways)
Sunroof, sliding ok, one touch feature.
Exhaust, in good condition.
Coming from a 968 you will find the 850 comparable in maintenace.
It is a well built coupe that has aged gacefully, looks new and works better than any comparable coupe.
