: You mention light bulb arrays in the OBC display. My 840Ci display is dim on left side and out on the clock. What are the bulb arrays, individual bulbs for each pixel or a screen with switchable lenses?
-From what i read on the forum, i understand you could change lightbulbs behind the LCD. They should be in two arrays of 5, and you should be able to solder on standard bulbs(12V 6W or something..)However, if some of the pixels are dim, and you want that fixed, you probably have to change the display.
One time the clock came on while I was driving and appeared to function correctly while it was on. I have not looked into pulling the display as I have no info on first pulling it or secondly what I could do after I have it out. How do you pull it? I guess that would be a start.
-Hmm.. i newer did that, i just posted my question to learn.. and to know if the system is the same on the radio as on the OBC-display.

-I'm not sure if you can read fault codes on it, but you can set som parameters, like language (see answer to my earlier question), and that is just a part of it. Language was parameter 11 if my memory is correct, but you should have something like 20 parameters, so i'm interested in what the other ones are..
