Ok, what the hell? You finally finished the masterpiece and now you're going to sell it??
Well as I am now tooling around in my new red Boxter S, I would have loved to purchase this car from you if I had know it was for sale! Oh well my loss.
Anyway: I have driven this car and it is so unlike the stock E31 that it deserves another classification: M8 maybe??
Your M5 will be THE word, but, let me tell ya, it will be tough to replace your 850i. I miss mine. The Porsche is no slow poke, but it doesn't have that GT cruising speed.
Those of you that have posted questions about the 850i wondering how it compares to the M3 and wanting the looks of the 8 and handling of the M3, Steve's 850i is it. I was ready to trade him my 850i with some cash on the spot when he came to Atlanta for the Jim C tuning session (so he can start from scratch with mine!)
Sorry to hear you are selling it. You may want to seriously consider what you are doing here. Maybe you can teach the wife to drive a 6 Speed??
Keep in touch!!
