It is Mauritiusblau. Paint code 287. It is a dark blue, call it "midnight" blue, with a subtle metallic base and a clear coat. I have this on my 1991 850i and I can attest that when it's buffed out and clean it looks great. But it shows swirl marks and dirt very easily.
