Good to hear you got the problem fixed, and isn't is always the most obvious and/or smallest little thing. : You guys are not going to believe this.
: For those that read my earlier posts regarding my '91 going on limp home constantly, I appreciate all your help! Many of your ideas will surely come in handy at some point. I ended up chasing problems that turned out to be misdiagnoses from the shop. Long story short - After three wrong diagnoses from the dealership and an independent, I finally got the answer. I went to the other dealership in town here - John Roberts to be exact - and for the first time in my own personal history of dealerships, they did what they were supposed to. They found the problem of why the computers had such a problem keeping the car running on all twelve.
: A fouled plug.
: So for the last two months, I have had the car in the shop a total of 14 days, spent almost $1K in repairs and diagnostic checks. But the funny thing is, this is why I bought it in the first place. They are high maintenance. You gotta love it!
: Again, thanks to all of you who sent me e-mails with all the great suggestions. I have learned a ton about my car in the last couple of months. I highly recommend getting down and dirty with your car (if it's off warranty of course.) You will gain an appreciation of some of the most incredible engineering and attention to detail that went into our cars.
