The way I understand that control........... It was put on cars that are usually euro spec that have a towing package...... yes, believe it or not, even the 850i. It allows the lights to be adjusted to compensate for the towing weight on rear of the car. I understand it operates by air pressure (?)
: Folk, This may be interested to you that I found that maybe you can add a switch that can control the vertical aim for you head light (E31). That means you might not have to replace the whole light bucket, if you lost nuts that is used to align the aim. On my car, it is next to the fog light switch. There is an empty spot for the switch. The AIM CONTROL IS actually the light control module that you have on your car (maybe different year). Perhap you might have to turn it on or connect wires and add the switch ? Any input ?
