To R&R the intake manifold gaskets, my independent charged $532 parts and $455 labor. I tried the Dinan intake gasket kit (whoa, don't get me started - around $300 for standard die cut gasket material and a bottle of gasket cement: Rip Off!), and it did not help. Having tried this repair myself, I can tell you that it's much easier having your mechanic do it.
