See the website below for pictures of a CSi. The car shown doesn't have the M-style mirrors and you can't see the rear diffuser or optional trunk spoiler. Several on the board have done what you are contemplating and learned the in's and out's. I'm currently going through it. I can pass along a few suggestions:
(1) Order the installation kit for the front spoiler. It contains new front ducting that is essential to proper cooling.
(2) There are several mirrors numbers and only one has the correct electrical connection. Make sure to order the right one. I've ordered the part nos. below based on another of the board members experiences, but havn't installed them yet to confirm they are correct. I'll know this week.
(3) There may or may not be tailpipe fitment issues with the rear CSi diffuser and stock 850i/Ci mufflers. I'm not sure because I have SuperSprint CSi mufflers being installed at the same time. Has anyone put the CSi diffuser on with the stock 850 mufflers?
