Cloud on the horizon. Whilst actively looking for an 840 my wife hits me with the bombshell 'I like the Merc SL series'.

In the UK I would probably get a 1993 SL500 for the same price as a 1995 840 although I am not too worried about age of vehicle.

Anyone able to give me views on a comparison between the two based on experience?
