With respect to the 850 CSi I haven't really noticed that much of a difference. As you know the CSi engine was already near its max. The dyno numbers from the stock engine was 297 hp. After the chip my car went up to 305. This is at the rear wheels. Driveability and fuel economy were unchanged. But my ego felt much better.

As far as the tuning concerns. The chip is changed to maximize performance throughout the rpm range. '

The 850i had the most to gain from the chip. They had a measured 40hp gain. Their driveability was not changed either.
