The only way I know that you can tell si:
a) look on the original window sticker
b) Look under the hood drivers side down under the resevoir.

: Does anyone know which E31s had which system, by year and model?

: : The +T was optional on automatics in 1991 and 1992. ASC was standard on all cars since it's only a software upgrade to the ABS controller. The +T, which adds active braking to the throttle control, includes additional hydraulic valving and circuitry and a two-channel power steering pump.
