There are two charcoal canisters that vent the tank. There is a electric valve that is controlled by the EMS that opens to vent the tank. My car, 91 850 6 speed, has the problem. It is not a problem around town, but long non stop trips (400 mi) the pressure gets high. Apparently the canisters clog over time and need replacing. $45 ea. Best of luck
