OBC color differences (archive)

I am wondering if anybody has had the following experience…I had my OBC replaced today. However it’s not black…it’s dark gray. I went back to BMW and pointed this out to them and they agreed that it did not look right. When they pulled my original unit out of the garbage and looked up the part numbers they were all the same, yet the colors are different. BMW is insisting that they can’t order a difference color. I have the original unit.

Any ideas and or suggestions? By looking at the unit I can pretty much say that swapping covers and keys will not be an option.
