Tire wear - what should I expect???? (archive)

Hi All,

I installed a set of continental cz90 235/50 r16 on my
95 840ci. Just took it in for its second rotation and was told that it needed new tires. These tires have
approx 11,000 miles on them. I dont drive the car too hard. The dealer told me I should only expect about 15,000 from them. Not sure if I believe that, does
anyone have any help for me?
