Alarm in 17 minutes? (archive)

I had a Clifford 7000 alarm system installed just before storing my car away for the winter. Just recently now that I've started driving it again, I've found that my alarm is set off regularly about 16-17 minutes after arming though the car remains untouched. The resulting error code indicates a trunk sensor was tripped.

Does anyone know if there is any sort of time delayed electrical activity in the 850 that occurs this late after removing the key that could be causing this response?

Thanks,
Andrew Wong
