: My lumbar adjustment has never worked so last weekend I found a quick fix until I replace the air pump assembly. I pulled out the air pump and re-assembled the seat back with the air hose sticking out near the hand brake. I attached a squeeze bulb type hand pump (like you find on a blood pressure cuff....and no, I'm not going to try to spell sphygmomanometer!) to the hose and behold: a working lumbar support! I had this bulb from the lumbar bag on an old Recaro seat, and I'm currently trying to find sources for them. If anyone is interested in this fix, I do know of one source but they're medical grade pumps (Halkey-Roberts, Inc)
: BTW, if available, would someone please send me the part number for the lumbar air pump ass'y. TIA.
: P.S. I'm still looking for a Motorola phone hand set....
: P.P.S - Started cleaning off the cosmoline with the KS Premium stripper...take your time, use a toothbrush and it works great. DON'T get any on your paint!! One side looks almost new, today I'll tackle the other.

may I recommend aircraft grade paint stripper
if your tooth brush is not melting how can the stripper cut the cosmoline. This stuff you dont
buy at home depot. Try it but you must use a natural brush and you will find this stuff at a body shop supply for about $20 and you would be finished by now.The less time you have to dick with a project is the direct result of the materials you use.
