: 60,000km? That's 36,000 miles, right? Is it even broken in yet? Jeez, don't listen to the people on here. You aren't buying a $100,000 dollar car, it's only $28,000. I would take it to a reputable mechanic and have him/her take a look at it and do all the necessary tests to determine engine, transmission, brake system status.

Thanks for the advice Jim, and interestingly enoug, that is what I did this morning. I took the car to an idependent mechanic which knows a lot about similar cars and he did a check over and found the car to be in top condition.

The only "problems" we found were a couple of pixels on the onboard computer that were not working and a slightly disturbing electrical buzz that leaks to the speaker system while the car is accelerating. Apart from that...the engine and the car itself is in top condintion.

I am actually really considering buying it...I will sleep this over and I see how I feel about it tommorrow.

Thanks for the advice. It is nice to see a bulleting board like this with all you dedicated people who are kind enough to put down some of your time to answer questions to us clueless ones ;-)

Federico
