Ok, here is a short story....

At my tire/rim reseler they mounted the tires on the rims. No problem.
They mounted the rear wheels. No problem.
They mounted the front wheels. BIG PROBLEM!! :-(
The wheel on the right side was tearing. (I don't know if i speelt this correct, but who cares right now).
You see, the right sides, yes only the right side, spring strut assambly is tearing. The bottom spring plate is turn clockwise about 20 degrees compared to the left side, and ther is a pit in the plate where the spring ends. This pit is tearing!!!
So, I had to go home with my old front weels. :-(
Well, I do not give up, I called Dinan.
Dinan told me that the use 265/35/18 on 9" rims.
I'm using 255/40/18 on 8.5" rims.
The dinan rims are offsetted by 19 mm.
My rims (AEZ Radon) are offseted 15 mm.
BMW original are offseted 20 mm.
Dinan uses 10 mm hub centric spacers.
I (the guys at wheel store) tried with 6 mm spacer , and it did not work.
I need to use 15 mm spacers, hub centric spacers.
Dinan gave me the phone number to HNR.
They have such spacer, 15mm hub centric, 95$/pair.

So, I will order them from US today and hopefuly on friday I will be back on my new wheels without tearing.

Your question,
I use 18x10" rims at rear and 18x8.5 rims at front.

I hope that this will help You.

/Mikael
