Check Edmunds.com, carprice.com, kbb.com. Take all three's retail, add, and divide by three. Take all three's trade-in and divide by three, add total retail to total trade-in and divide by two. That will give you a good "generic" idea of the value of the car. Your bank can also give you N.A.D.A. trade, retail, and loan value on the car to give you a good idea of the value.

'92 Laguna Green 850i 6spd

: I found an 850i 91 with 92k, partial records and the wholesale dealer wants 16,000.00 for it but I could probably get it for around 15,000.00. Body is very good and the interior is too. I would have it checked out thoroughly, if it checks out okay would this be a good idea to buy this car or just wait to find one with all the records? Please help and thanks for all of the advice.
