Hello Steve. Congratulations on your new car! I also have been looking for a good E31 for a while. I have found '97 850Ci with low mileage (less than 20K mile) that I plan to purchase within this month. From what I heard, later model 840Ci came fully loaded, and didn't have much option choice besides CD changer, cell phone, and upgraded wheels. However I don't have first hand experience with E31, and I'll be glad to hear from someone who does.
