This is real easy to change. Remove the radio, and the obc display unit can be popped out from behind.

The only problem is there is a special tool that is required to loosen the two fasteners that hold the radio in place. They are a weird size.

The tool can be ordered from the dealer, I think it is 10.00 -15.00 US if I remember correctly.

: Hello all Bimmer experts,

: I finally went out and bought the 93' 850 Ci I saw out there and really....WHAT a car!!! Thanks for all the advice so far!

: Among the small details I would like to fix with the car right now is the OBC display which has a couple of pixel columns which do not work. I have seen other posting about the price, but I was wondering if someone here has changed the display himself to let me know if this is something I can change myself or if my dealer has to do it?

: Is it hard? Easy? Risk of messing something up?

: Best regards,

: Federico
