I'd like to perform a tranny service on a '94 840 (Automatic). There is a drain plug for the tranny, but I haven't been able to locate a fill plug, or other means by which to refill the tranny. (No dipstick either).

Does anyone have any experience doing this, and if so, could you please share your knowledge?

Also, the tranny oil that BMW specifies is only available from the dealer (as far as I know) for a rediculous amount of money. Are there any other sources for this juice, or any alternatives?
