Special transmission oil - yes, I belive the only specialty is the full synthetic. You can NOT use anything else because the trannty wont work properly otherwise. I checked for you, Mobil 1 fully synth. trans, oil at Autozone 4.99/quart. That would do the job for a quarter of the money !
(p.s. sorry about the oil refill hole, but sometimes my english isn't perfect. I learned the english in the last 3-4 years so I have a lot to learn I guess. I hope you understand it now. )
