I just bought a '93 850ci with 94,000 miles on it that is not a 6 speed and paid 29,000 for it. Perhaps I have not been choosy enough and was ripped off. My feeling was - it has a clean title and carfax (not 100% reliable I know) and seemed to be in very good condition with brand new brakepads and rotors redone. It drove well and satisfied my desire for having this kind of machine. I think these cars are relatively rare and I personally don't have the tme to put into really searching the whole country and whatnot for the 'best' one available. We'll see how it goes, but so far I am very happy with it. They are awesome examples of 'the ultimate driving machine'.
