The CSI has a "tandem" hydraulic pump - one for the H31 hydraulic system (brakes, steering) and a separate pump for the ASC+T system. Both pumps have built-in pressure "pop-off" valves designed to protect the system from drastic overpressures. The pumps share a common shaft and are driven by a common pulley.

Do you mean the leak was occuring at the pressure regulator mounted to the left wheel well housing, or was it the pump, mounted down by the alternator?

I'm confused.
