Has anybody ever seen a Bentley with a Twin-Turbo V8 engine from BMW. It is a same engine as in the 840CI and 740i/iL, 540i uses but has a lower compression ratio to suit the turbo's. The engine makes about 350HP but a lot of torque. Actually the torque numbers are almost equal to a Mercedes Benz 6.0l V12 engine's numbers, which is pretty impressive from a 4.4l V8. Also because of the style fo the car they made the boost very conservative. I think with a little twist those numbers can be much higher, HP should be around 425 or more. I'd love to have a twin-turbo in my 840Ci.
