a) It really depends on your driving style. Put your foot into the V12 and suck down 7-8 MPG (33.6 - 29.4 L/100km). Great for getting away first at a traffic light, but keep it up and you can watch the fuel gauge go down like wilting flower.
b) Air conditioning: you'll lose a few MPG with the A/C on. Here's the kicker: from what I understand (someone chime in to clarify here) when you first start the car the A/C is on even if the A/C switch on the center console is off. It has something to do with the start-up parameters of the electronics and ventilation system. You need to turn on, then turn off the A/C switch to have it be off.
So, with A/C on you may expect 7-10 MPG (33.6-23.5 L/100km) city and 18-22 (13.1-10.7 L/100km) MPG hwy. With A/C off: 9-14 MPG (26.1-16.8 L/100km) city and 20-24 MPG (11.8-9.8 L/100km) hwy.
Assuming the mechanicals are all running well, another factor effecting mileage are the tires (size, condition, etc.). Thinner tires will increase mileage. Alignment is very important as well, too much toe, camber or caster can cut down on fuel efficiency. Expect range of about 300 miles (480 Km) per tank.
