I commute to the NYC every day from the burbs in my 840Ci and get about 17 mpg average on that loop which is 80% highway and 20% crawl. On long trips on the highway I have observed 20 - 24 averages on occasion. Around the burbs on the weekend with lots of full throttle blasts I get about 15.

95 840Ci - 32k miles : Different articles I have read on the V12 (5.0l)850 claim it uses anywhere between 11-21 litres per 100km! Can someone please tell me realistically what milage I would expect to recieve from day to day driving in l/100km and what range I would expect to get out of a tank? Does the 840 use a lot less fuel?
