I hit a deer w/ my 735i. The body shop did a wonderful job fixing the hood/fenders/grille, etc, but the engine had shifted 1 half inch in the wreck, and was also 3 degrees off to the left from its original position. Though all looked fine to the untrained onlookers (adjusters, bodymen) the problem was spotted by a qualified frame guy. The car was then "totalled," as it was not in the codition prior to my being hit, and was not considered "repaired."
