* As far as I know the pre93 850Ci and the CSI used the same caliper. The part number by BMW is the same for both : 34 11 1 160 325/326 and listed as $357.00 I can get you these for about :315.00/pce That is original BMW (ATE type single piston) and I think the BREMBO style is the 4 piston caliper which was used after 1993 on the 850Ci and 840Ci. Maybe I'm not correct (my book isn't always correct) so please check which caliper do you currently has. If you want to upgrade to a 4 piston caliper then the front strut has to be replaced as well, because the caliper mount is on the strut. (Unfortunately BMW doesn't sells the strut alone without the cartridge only complete Part # for the CSI 31 31 2 227 256/5 $486list price) I have never done a upgrade so I'm not sure the 4 piston will fit to a single piston mount, but probably not.

As far as remanufactured/rebuilt calipers:
- Single piston ATE version : 49USD/pce ($35core)
- 4 piston BREMBO style : 195USD/pce ($55core)
