Didn't see my mail posted to the list, so I'm posting it here:

Just as a side note, has anyone esle experienced this same exact problem (no heat
from front left vents)? My car just started exhibiting the same problem. I find it
incredible that an 80,000 to 100,000 USD car would use obviously deficient "plastic"
components that have failed on numerous cars; a defect that has such a high repair
cost. Also, from looking at the repair manual, although a nightmare, I can't see
the removal of the steering wheel, front console, and dash should take more than
a couple of hours for a trained tech. How do they justify $1900 dollars labor? Have
you asked to see the standard cost manual on the repair?
