According to the factory repair manual, and I quote "Only pour in ATF with Special Tool 24 0 080 (funnel)"
With a picture of a normal looking funnel stuck in the top of the dipstick tube!
Really just fill it like any other car. I'm sure a Pep Boys funnel will work just as well, but if you want to buy the special BMW funnel, now you have the p/n.
