That is a bit much for the car. If it were a 6spd and the car was immaculate with everything necessary replaced, $35k would be a lot but not unreasonable. Yet, considering the already large price difference between the 95% average or worse condition cars and the 5% excellent, I'd suggest that over the next few years the divide will become even more pronounced. As the good ones become rarer Blue Book and other price guides have less and less to do with their value. In effect, it becomes a two tier market with only the 95% part tracked. Unfortunately, the seller seems to have decided this already :'). This would also suggest it's a good time to acquire one of the nice ones.Greg
