91 850i for sale - $18,500 (archive)

I was told the Car is at Bavarian auto recycling (916-635-4269) in the Sacramento Area. They picked it up on a salvage sale from an insurance company. The car was apparently stolen and the owners reported it and then when it wasn't found they settled with the insurance company. They later the car was reportedly found again without any damage or theft of parts etc. So the insurance co had to sell it as salvage and Bavarian picked it up. They reportedly have it now in the body shop being repaired for minor paint work Black/black and it is supposed to have 80,000 mi. I was told they were asking $18,500. If I hadn't already bought one I would be going to look at this one. Good hunting.
