#1) Have you had your cylinder compression checked on all cylinders? A leak-down test might be in order. Warn head gasket might be leaky until heat expansion increases compression.

#2) I also suggest checking your ignition system. In order of cost: start with plugs, then distrib. cap/rotor, then plug wires (loom and wires fairly high $300-$400 range).
