The headrest arm is a plastic clamshell held in place by two internal clips. You'll notice two tiny holes in the back half of the clamshell. One on the outside, and one on the inside. It's only visible if you lower the seat cushion fully.

Insert an icepick or some other pointed object, press hard to release the clips, and *very* carefully pry the pieces apart. Besides the two clips located behind the small holes, there's one also along the diagonal portion. Press in on the front half and it should release the back half. The back half of the trim is the one that should come free. You need to do one part at a time. Take it very slow.

Also, to remove the headrest, vigorously wiggle off by rocking it forward and backward, while pulling to the outside. It's held on by a very tight friction fit.
