I just purchased a 91 850i and it is a great car - as expected. The car has the original phone, with a trunk mounted power booster and another box of similiar size, though thicker, mounted back to back. I don't plan to activate the old analog phone, but was wondering if anyone could let me know what the second box is? It has two multi-conductor rectangular connectors on it.
