: Saw an ad for a 1994 840Ci with 40k miles for $21,000 with some damage to bumper cover, apparently through Autosource, a nationwide broker which claims to sell cars obtained from insurance companies. Price sounds cheap, but has anyone ever dealt with or heard about them?
: BTW, is BMW going to replace this engine?
: thanks

They are not a broker, don't sell cars directly, but sell the information where you can buy those damaged vehicles. To me it sounded like a hoax, similar to "cable descrambler for $10" or "free long distance phone call" type of scheme. I wouldn't waste money or time on them.
