High Insurance Costs (archive)

How much are you paying to insure your 8-series vehicle? I've got a 93 850 CIA which will cost me about $1600/6months. This was a shock to me because initially I had looked at a 91 850 and they quoted me $850/6 months assuming my other car was still on the policy. Well that I purchased a 7 year old vehicle instead of a 9 and took out my other car the insurance premium just about doubles?? What a ripoff.
