I'm definetly not hitting the memory switches. The steering will go haywire then, then quit working for fifteen minutes, (it happens once a week). It's my A/M transmission switch which gets the hottest, how could I test for any problems?

: I've noticed the same, but only on those switches with indicator bulbs (EDC switch, etc.) In my experience, this is normal for lighted switches, but it may not be for non-lighted ones and may indicate a high switch resistance which is building up heat. No input regarding the steering wheel, but have you checked to see if you're accidently hitting the seat memory button (which will also shift the wheel to the set position)?
