there was a non-air bag version but probably you don't want that !

Get a used one if you can find it !
The 5 series (89-95) from 5-94 used the same type as the 8 series 95-97 but the rest is different part numbers. They may not be all that different try them out. Make sure the AirBag fits correctly ! The 7 and 5 series used the same wheels between 88-95 but the 8 series was different.
