I needed some paint work done on my BMW awhile back, and the owner of the body shop suggested that I come by for a "before and after look". In other words I saw another car before and after the job was completed. Nothing is better, I could really checkout the work. On my own car they even called me periodically during the work so I could check the work... It was great. I suggest you try and find a shop that will so the same. Then you won't get any unpleasant surprises.

This body shop is in Canada...
