Kurt,
I can only offer the obvious: check tire pressures, check front-end alignment.

: I know better, but.....how else do you explain it. I am the only one who drives my 850. I have been treating it so very gently, like the cream puff that it truly is.....with the exception of the occasional pedal to the metal. However I have never hit a hole, or a curb or anything unusual or improper or out of the ordinary. But, all of a sudden this morning as I got in the car and drove to take a friend to the airport....
: ...The steering wheel was suddenly and inexplicably positioned off-center to the left as I went straight down the road. The same road, no crowns etc. Flat!! Yesterday the steering wheel was perfectly straight and on-center as I went down the same straight flat road.
: A Poltergeist!....a poltergeist is after me with this car. One little tiny thing after another. Maddening! Constant fine-tuning!!! But, still I love it.
: Later Kurt
: Ps. Any sensible ideas of what happened? Nothing appears to be loose in the steering or adjustments. Hmmmmmmmmmm
