there is a 850i six speed conversion for sale in this months Roundel classified section.
I have no idea how complete it is or how difficult it is to convert.
It is probably a good deal if your automatic needs rebuilding or if you really want a manual.
IMHO, the 6 speed 850 is not a good choice for a daily drive in a heavy traffic area (my situation), but the performance is a little betterso if it is your weekend or special car, then go for it.
BTW, there are 2 CSi's and 3 i's for sale in there, and a remark from the editor (letter section) that the CSi is basically an M8
