A year or so ago, when I was a member of the BMW UUC Digest, I recall someone relating a trick to clean accumulated carbon from the intake tract using Ventil Sauber in a way not quite per the maker's instructions. It involved dumping the stuff down the intake while the engine is running, eventually to the point of engine stall. However, exact details of the procedure have escaped my memory. Might be tough to stall an 8, with the separate intake systems, but should be as equally effective as it is on the 6 cylinder cars. Can anyone help me out? Mark
